A small outdoor coffee stand with a wooden exterior. A woman is inside preparing a beverage, and the menu is visible on the wall behind her. Green trees and bright sunlight are visible in the background.

Made for the everyday

Curio Press sits right on the waterfront of Lake Burley Griffin, surrounded by some of Canberra’s most familiar landmarks.

But we wanted to create more than a café with a great view.

We wanted somewhere locals would make part of their routine. Somewhere to grab a coffee after a walk, meet a friend for breakfast, stop with the kids or settle in by the water when there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Good food, great coffee and warm service are a given. It’s everything around them that makes Curio Press what it is.

Assorted fresh cut wraps filled with vegetables, meats, and cheeses, garnished with parsley on a gray marble surface.

Hospitality runs deep

Curio Press is backed by generations of hospitality experience and a simple idea of what makes a good café.

Know your customers. Care about what you serve. Create somewhere people want to come back to.

Our team is local too, made up of people who know Canberra and the community around us.

You’ll see familiar faces on both sides of the counter.
